This next week (September 21 - 25) is going to be a very busy time for our Bomber Cheer girls. It's Spirit Week and Homecoming at Wakefield School. The girls have planned activities for each day and are looking forward to the pep rally on Friday. The girl and boy that dress up each day and shows a great amount of effort into their outfits will be crowned King and Queen of Spirit at the pep rally.

Monday - Redneck Day
Tuesday - Tacky Day/Crazy Hair
Wednesday - Black Out The Cougars Day (Wear Black)
Thursday - Cowboys and Indians Day
Friday - Bomber Pride Day

Monday the 5 cheerleaders and the 3 football captains are having a NO TALKING CONTEST. They all will be wearing beads. Whoever gets the cheerleader or football captain to talk, captures their beads and will get to put a PIE IN THEIR FACE at the pep rally.

There is another PIE IN YOUR FACE contest going on all week. This is between coaches and our principal. Students may bring money to put into the coaches/principal's containers. The person (container) that collects the most money will also get a PIE IN THEIR FACE at the pep rally.

The traditional Snake Dance and Bonfire is Thursday evening, Sept. 24 after the Junior High football game. Please remember to meet by the new gym and no one starts until everyone is ready. A police escort will lead us to the Bonfire.

Friday, September 25 is the Homecoming Parade starting at 2:15 p.m. in front of school. Followed by a pep rally at the football field. Classes are busy making floats this week. The class that wins receives a traveling plaque and candy!

The crowning of the Homecoming Queen and King will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at the football field. Candidates for queen are: Shelbey Barber, Kendra Blum, and Kristin DeWitt. King candidates are: Logan Joye, Jack Ruehlen, and Jacob Vernnon. First Grade attendants helping with the crowning are Elaina Hammond and Konner Murphy.

We welcome back any alumni who would like to join in on the fun! Former Bomber Football players wear your jerseys to the game if you own one. Come and support our Bomber Team as they take on the Centre Cougars. BOMBERS FOREVER!
